 Dr. Douglas Sharpe, O.D.
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Sharpe obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and his Bachelor of Science from Pacific University after attending the University of Colorado at Denver.
He completed his internship at Omni Eye Specialists located in Denver, specializing in the treatment of eye diseases and cornea and retina conditions.
With over 10 years of experience as a Clinical Optometrist and Clinical Director at Lasik centers in the Denver metro area, Dr. Sharpe is a specialist in Lasik, PRK and refractive surgery evaluations and care. He has excellent working knowledge of many types of equipment including but not limited to Ladarwave, Allegretto Wavelight lasers, B&L Orbscan, and Visx Wavescan abberometers.
Dr. Sharpe specializes in complicated post surgery, toric, bifocal and keratoconus contact lens fittings. He also has extensive experience in geriatric vision care including dry eye management and post cataract surgery care.
Dr. Sharpe is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Dr. Sharpe has been a resident of Colorado for 35 years and has practiced optometry in the southwest Denver metro area for over 10 years. He enjoys snowboarding, hiking, motorcycles and motocross, carpentry and woodworking.
